Trends in Patients and Office Visits at the Repheka Clinic

Patients-Visits

Since February 2010, right after the January 12th earthquake that has caused more than 300 thousands deaths and countless injuries, Clinic Repheka has been providing primary care to patients living in Pernier (a town located north of Petion-Ville) and its surrounding localities. The tables below highlight the total number of patients and office visits at the clinic. The first table presents the number of patients and visits from 2015 to 2019, and the second from January to September in 2020.

In the second table the low numbers from March to August 2020 result from the negative impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on patient volume and revenues.

The Repheka Clinic continues to uphold its initial vision to provide affordable quality primary care to people living in Haiti. In fact, overtime we have introduced new services, such as radiology, immunization, weekly health education program on radio, orthopedic care, etc.

As the Coronavirus pandemic has forced our Board of Directors to cancel our annual fundraising gala, they have launched a special fundraising campaign to raise the funds necessary to sustain the operations of the clinic and to support two special projects (SOLAR-POWERED ELECTRICAL SYSTEM and CLINICAL LABORATORY UPGRADE).
